A buddy of mine sent me some stuff on this plan. He's in competition with this: consumer-choice-usa.com . He's recommending an IM product from BCBS or Humana to the prospect. Apparently the other "agent" is selling this stuff as comprehensive medical coverage...

Funny, the first page of their website says "This is NOT insurance."

Consumers Choice is underwritten by Companion Life, who's owned by BCBS of South Carolina.

It's a mini med/limited benefit plan that requires a recorded voice verification. First Health is the network.

It's actually quite good for what it is, not a major med, not a group insurance, not an 80/20 etc.
