I have a client that starts medicare next month, and is starting treatment for skin cancer next week. Before he signs up for anything, he wants to know if their would be any interruption in his treatment, or if he would need any prior authorization when the MAPD starts?
Is it safe to assume he could make the transition without any hiccups?

prior authorization is always in the realm of possibilities for MA as well as possible changes in network mid year.

I always let a client know when deciding while it might not be probable it is possible, And as long as they have a choice of both Supp and MA and if they want MA, I let them know about trial rights and 6 months OE for Supp. So they can try the MA risk free if they want to avoid the Supp premium
