Credit History - An Untapped Market

Just a tip for all insurance agents and brokers that are looking for a new way to market their services. The public's perception of how much personal credit history affects the rates they are presented with for all types of insurance policies outweighs the reality.

Many insurance sellers have begun to market to people with good credit, and people with bad credit. They do this in a variety of different ways. Use your imagination! Just another way to appeal to a certain demographic who have credit issues on their minds and hold them as hot buttons.
 
Insurance companies have been doing this for years. I actually have a couple of companies that don't check credit. But keep in mind the people that have bead credit, usually don't pay there bills, not all but most of the time.
