Did You Know the Associate in Personal Insurance Designation is Only One Extra Exam After the CPCU?

Just thought I'd throw out some friendly advice to all you personal insurance CPCUs out there.

The Associate in Personal Insurance designation is only one extra exam, the API 28 exam, and it's REALLY easy compared to the CPCU exams.

Both the CPCU 555 and CPCU 556 exams count towards the API, meaning you just need to pass one more exam to earn this associate level designation. Check with your employer to see if they will cover your studying/exam expenses. Often insurers will fully pay for or refund you for taking these exams and some companies, such as liberty mutual, even offer bonuses for earning these designations
