Direct mail appt setting

I started getting my first batch of direct mail leads back this week and have set several appointments for later this week so far.

My question is regarding direct mail leads, how far out in advance would you set an appointment?

No more than a month.


Just kidding. I think many strive to keep it at 2 days out.

I try to keep it a day or two out but sometimes people will say they can only meet the next week. Usually when next week comes, they’re too busy that week or won’t answer.
I like to call on Monday’s to fill up Tuesday and Wednesday.
Call tues and wed to fill Wednesday through Friday.

Within the next 2 days. Otherwise, call back next week and try to set the appt within the next 2 days.
