Do I Need a Privacy Statement for My Website?

Hey everyone, I've almost got my site up and running and had a question. If I'm building a website for lead generation do I need a privacy statement for it? For example, how their information is used or if it's sold to another agent as a lead, etc. Any input would be great, thanks!

And why not at the beginning where it can be easily found along with prominently displayed terms of service?
