i could have sworn that there is ability to enroll in Part D within 2 months of delayed Part B activation?
Ex: Part A 10-1-17
Part B 12-1-18
Missed the boat to join an MAPD, but still has 60 days from 12-1-18 to add a Part D (Jan 31)
ICEP was the code since the A & B are different dates.

I can’t find this written anywhere!!!

Isn't an ICEP something that applies only to an MAPD?

Are you thinking of the Part D enrollment opportunity that comes after one enrolls in Part B when leaving a large employer group health plan?

The ICEP existed from 10/1 to 11/30 due to the A & B dates being different and it could only be used for MA/MAPD enrollment. If the person wanted just a PDP, then an SEP would have to be available.
