Does VUL commision go beyond 100%?

Hi,all,

I partner with a financial planning firm and it has a contract with major life insurance carriers with IUL commission of 115%~125%.

This year I got my series6/63 and now talking to a broker/dealer about Vul/variable annuity contract.

the b/d told me variable product line is totally different from IUL, It has no hierarchy at all and the commission of VUL is never beyond 100%.

May I ask people here, does VUL commission go beyond 100%?

It varies by carrier, but that is what your B/D is capping the comp at. Total comp is over 100%. What the B/D is willing to pay you is a different story.
