Hello all,
I am having trouble getting E&O coverage as an independent life agent in Florida. Back in 2016 while working in the bail bond industry I was advised by counsel to enter into a consent order with the FLDFS because it was cheaper to pay the fine than defend the allegation and due to the fact that the fine was not affecting my license I took his advice. Now, I am an independent life agent and am having trouble getting a policy. Without the E&O policy I have very limited access to carriers. Does anyone have any advice, experience or know of any companies that would accept someone with a blemish on their state license? I appreciate any help or advice TIA!
