Even though we're not through with this year, I thought this might be of interest to the members of the forum. Seems that Medicare Advantage is alive & well . . . .

Yep, MA takes on a higher percentage of my book every year. That transition is even higher for those couples over 75 where medigap premiums are stupid high compared to ten years ago.

I have 80+ aged couples that I used to have on plan G each back in 2005, barely over $210/month together. Now, a 80 year old h/w couple is dang near $350-400/month, take that and pdp premiums in an annual consideration is don't take long for them to make sense of MAPD out of pocket risk.
