I got an email just now from eHealthInsurance.com

As a broker representing every name brand health carrier
in my area I know I am not the guy to spam about health
insurance.

And I sure as hell never asked for anything from them...

I think we should all file complaints with their State Board
of Insurance AND the Federal Trade Commission...

Anyone else agree ?

Hi. I work for eHealthInsurance.

I’m sorry you were annoyed by our email. If you’ve *ever* created an account on our website or provided your contact information to one of our partners, this could have resulted in you receiving the email. We really do not intentionally send emails to anyone who has not either visited our website or expressed interest in health insurance products to one of our partners. At the bottom of the email there should be some simple opt-out instructions.

If you prefer to opt out by phone, we’re glad to help. You can call our customer service department at xxxxxxxxxx. Just let us know the address at which you received the email and we’ll remove you from the list of recipients for any future marketing emails. If you’re comfortable enough providing the email address here, I’ll personally make sure you are taken off our recipient list.
