Email Notifications

Is there anyway to get the email notifications to either send in a timely manner or not to send at all, but still be subscribed? I receive the emails a couple of days after someone has replied, and that bugs me.

Instead of using quick reply, use the advanced reply. On the bottom before you click to submit your thread or reply, there will be a thread subscription drop down. You can do , do not subscribe, instant, daily and weekly...
