Has anybody had experience with this ? I met with a recruiter this week it seemed like a good opportunity but the reviews online for farmers from past employees are terrifying

I'm currently a team member at State Farm for about a year. I'm cautiously looking for for other opportunities out there . I write about 60k premium a month largely from car dealerships/ apartment complexes . I make decent money but thinking I can make more money on my own as most of what i write is business I generate not corporate leads.

Any insight on what a good place to work for if most business is from dealerships?

If you want to make more money and keep your clients, don't jump from one captive to another captive company.

Go Indy, or just go home.

More money, no quotas, more opportunities. Keep your clients, build a brand of your own, your the boss and build your agency...

Whatever you do, DON'T GO TO FARMERS.
You will be very unhappy.
