I can make my own work hours, meaning I can actually spend time with my wife and one day kids when they have something important. Like a soccer game!
Money can be made from any job, with a degree and enough time there are literally tons of jobs that could out make insurance. To me its working for myself, and the time I get to spend with others.

No boss or manager. I make my own shedule. Being independent. Being an agent I get a lot of thank yous from people that appreciate what I do. Also as stated, i can spend time with my family when we choose, not when some boss says i can.
