FE for Diabetic with Kidney Issues

I have a 70 year old gentleman that is looking for 20-25K of FE. He is type 1 diabetic and has only one healthy kidney. Are there any options out there for him? Thank you.

I had a similar issue the other night. It's pricey (so much so I had to pivot to Gerber GI). Try UHL GI something

Assuming he isn't taking much insulin, which I doubt, Aetna would take him level. Only kidney related question is dialysis.

That's like the most expensive GI out there. Why use them when Gerber and AIG are way cheaper?

That's not a tough case at all. Of course it depends on why he lost one kidney and how long ago.

If it was last week then it's a tough case. You have many options in Mich.

Long story short Commission. They also wanted 1st day coverage and I was hoping I could sneak it through via UHL. It soon become apparent that the best option was Gerber.

So I did Gerber at the end. Being honest.

True Graded with foresters

Plenty of options before ROP

Eagle will take if not chronic.

I do not know but if type 1 and a loss of a kidney, is there anyone who would not consider that chronic. I do not know the answer.
