Federal Insurance Pool

I haven't dealt with individual medical in a few years. I nee some help.

I have a client that has an Assurant policy. It is not a Major Medical.

The federal pool has a 6 month requirement.

Since his coverage is a low end plan can he qualify for the Federal Insurance Poool?

He is uninsurable.

The fact that he tried to be responsible and had what coverage he has screws him based on the way they setup the system. The only way to get on would be to drop coverage and go without for six months.

The ONLY thing you can own before getting on PCIP is an accident policy
