Final Expense Rate Increases

Have had a couple of companies that have taken rate increases. Just received this inofrmation from another:

2017 CSO tables update: CSO tables, which are used to compute the nonforfeiture values of life insurance, have been updated for the first time since 2001. The 2017 update is resulting in industry-wide rate increases. These rate increases should have no impact on our competitive position as all life insurance products offered by all carriers are affected by the update.

Same when any Life insurance rates go up. We get a raise.

Something tells me the this is the first time ever since CSO tables were standardized and released. A very sad commentary on American health.

However, Remember the Term Wars of the early 90? Oh wait, you were probably still going through puberty. Anyway, Opportunity to sell sell sell. Opportunity. Then, Triple XXX is coming lock in those low rates. Agents were crying the death song of term insurance. Others wrote the crap out of term. Opportunity. Now, all of those 40 year olds buying twenty year term are in their 60s, fat and diabetic but much wealthier ( in some cases) and on their forth house and third wife. Opportunity

True... This announcement was from Wash Nat.. They were down there close to Standard Life and Casualty at the younger ages... Now they are closer to Settlers Gold.. One good thing (as far as I am concerned) they did away with the POS....
