Hello, I am a newer broker and have recently gone out on my own selling small group health. I would love to connect with a mentor. Any ideas or suggestions as to how I can go about inding someone? Any ideas of how I can bring value to a mentor?
    I am in Nor cal.
    Thank you- L

I'd check out your local NAHU chapter and network there.

I think the best way to bring value to a mentor is to first have them teach you how to find cases and bring the case for the both of you to work on... for a split commission of some kind. This is how you pay them (and pay them back) for their expertise. Ideally, they can teach you how to prospect for cases on your level, and then grow your expertise to work on larger groups. You just want to watch them work and learn the patterns they have for success (and learn from any mistakes they make too).
