I've been asked numerous times "what is the best life insurance policy?" My standard answer is "one that is in force the day you die."

why would you need it? If both are insurable, write one on each. problem solved.

Lower mortality costs for one policy than paying for 2 separate policies;
Can help with moderate health issues.
It is designed for two insureds who are within 10 years of age of each other. If wider than that, two separate policies would generally be a better choice.
- Good for social security planning upon the death of the first spouse.
- Even out premiums for buy/sell planning.
