Florida Insurance- Mainly Medsupp

Our office is opening an office in florida, from what we are aware of the only med supp products that can be sold in florida are bcbs and uhc. Well they are the big ones. Can anyone give me any insight as to why this is? Also, any other companies in florida for med supp we can look into?

MOO definitely call them one of the "big ones". AARP is also a player but they don't have a GI Plan N. Gerber will also be a good one when they are approved.

I've not heard a lot about BC&BS being that competitive state wide. I write MOO in FL.
