I am new to these forums but not new to the insurance industry. I am looking to open my own independent insurance agency here in Central Florida within the next 6 months or so and I have a few questions. I am looking to find a Florida MGA that I can write and place business with. I do not have an existing book of business so getting direct appointments will be difficult. I have looked at some of the obvious one's including, Insurance Noodle, Agent Secure, etc. However, I am not particularly fond of the above. I am looking to only write Standard/non-standard auto and homeowners when I begin. I would like also like to write commercial and eventually, life and health and do some financial services.
If anyone can provide any help or point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.
