Hey everyone!

My name is Camilo and my background is in mortgages and cybersecurity sales. I have been hearing lately that cyber liability is a type of insurance that is growing in a tremendous way, however, I wanted to hear from actual 2-20 agents how is the market for this type of insurance.
I am making good money with mortgages and cyber sales but I wonder if it's possible to make a killing with a 2-20 license ( I am really interested in Workers' Compensation, Crime Insurance, Bonds and other lines? and obviously Cyber liability, does anyone of you sell this type of lines? do you like it? I heard that there are many "niches" with the 2-20 like immigration bonds.. )

how much can you make with a 2-20 license in Florida? I am not looking to sell auto insurance tho, I think that I have a bigger chance with homeowners and cyber liability...

is getting a 2-20 license worth it? do you like it guys?

Thank you!

"Is there good money in insurance?" Yes, conditionally.

An insurance license is worth having depending on what you do with it. There is a learning curve, so you'll need to be prepared to learn the policies you sell even after the licensing process (you'll learn some standard policy forms in a licensing class).

I know of cyber specialists, and they can do well. It's hard to say what you will make as an insurance agent, because that is a question of sales skills, creativity, work ethic, etc. A majority of people can make good money as employees in the insurance business.

For the ones who own an agency or a book of business, they can either burn out because their practice is poorly designed, or they can make six or even seven figures. What makes the difference is largely the skills you bring in business, marketing, sales, management, etc.

I guess it depends on the state, but isn't a "2-20" just a sub category of a P&C License
