Is anyone familiar with the Geisinger Health Plan and it's availability for individuals? Is it only an HMO? Is it medically underwritten? Is it available through agents?

Sure. They service mostly Northeastern Pa (and a parts of Central). I believe you can be appointed by them.
Only about 60 hospitals in the Network though.

Hey Wilkin,
Geisinger is huge up here in NEPA where I am at. The Geisinger plans are mostly if not exclusively PPO's. The have brokers in some areas, and sell directly in others (Scranton where I am at for instance.) I am just getting started up here and am not an expert, but let me know if I can help with anything. Are you up in this area?
