Getting Appointed with Auto-Owners in Missouri

Hi Everyone,
This is my first post on the insurance forums. We are a relatively new agency in Missouri. We have several direct carriers that we work with. However, one that we have trouble competing with in our area is Auto-Owners. How difficult are they to go direct with? Does anyone else have luck with them? Thank you!

Kind of depends on how much they like the local representation and how much they write with them. From what I've heard its not a very easy contract to get.

That seems to be what I am hearing as well.

I don't have them, but thinking in AZ they require 100,000 and 12 life apps per year.
