There's not a single thing wrong with STM if sold properly and for the proper situation.

STM only gets bad press when it's sold improperly. I'll put someone on STM before a mini-med any day of the week...if they qualify.

But if STM doesn't cover any pre-ex and the rates are the same as long term, why buy STM? Might as well buy the long term and cancel later...

...mini-meds also don't cover any pre-ex but at least most are major medical. I'm only talking about clients who don't qualify for long-term coverage, do qualify for short-term and also don't qualify for the risk pool.

The commission on the STM is the same as the long term with UHO. 12% on STM, paid as earned. No extra commission for selling those.
