Hello all,
By way of introduction, I'm a recent transplant to Salem, Oregon from San Diego, California, (My husband accepted a job transfer here and I left my last job to accompany him.)I have worked as an Insurance Licensing professional for nearly two decades. I've worked for insurers, TPOs (back when they were called such), MGAs, the occassional independent producer, and FMOs and continue to love my career.
As a recent transplant, I'm looking for direction as far as your personal experiences with various FMOs operating in my area, with the ultimate goal of applying to work with them as a Licensing Specialist.
In short, I'd like to hear your good experiences AND your horror stories as I proceed with my employment search. If you intend to contact me regarding changing to Sales... stop right there
I do not close. While this makes me exceptional in my chosen field (legal support), it also makes me supremely unsuited as a closer.
