Guaranteed Issue Commissions Are Low but 40%??

Im a new agent with a NC agency. I sold a 2 year graded WL policy- guaranteed issue with no health questions. My commission was only 40% 6 month advance $500 max adv cap.
Is this normal for this product? Thanks for the feedback.

I don't know what carrier you're referring to but 40% definitely low.. We use Gerber and normally give 60% to 65%.

Couple of questions before I can answer:

Are you on a subsidized or free lead program through your upline or a completely independent agent?
How old is the client?

Street level is 60% with GW. Super Street is 65% with them, which is what we give to all of our direct agents.
