Guaranteed Issue For Med Supp SEP??????

Have a client that was thrown off Medicaid based on annual household income. Can she now qualify for a med supp with guaranteed issue through SEP? Or, does she have to go MAPD?

Depends on your State's law. And even if the State you live doesn't make it a GI event some of your companies will still issie it GI.

Wrote my first GI this AEP on a lady who dropped her MS and went to UHC SNP Plan hated it. Aetna gave her the run around about the GI issuance. Didn't know I wasn't going to make anything on it.
