COPD, emphysema, bypass 12 months ago. Sagicor? (63 year old male, ht/wt in normal ranges). Whole Life/Universal, will spend up to 20k/year.

Who will take this guy?

Might be a few options in FE besides GI. Is he on oxygen? Does he smoke? What meds?
 
Lol. Sagicor is for preferred clients. Maybe a few carriers will do graded for 1-2 yrs of heart surgery. You can pretty much forget anything with immediate benefit till he hits 2 yrs then you can write him a few fe policy's . The copd knocks him out for level with most fe carriers.

What face amount? At that premium I assume you are talking about fully underwritten. Send all the information to a brokerage underwriter for guidance.
 
There's 2 different association. Plans where he'd qualify for up to 150k if employeed and working 20 hrs a week.

That's best case scenario
