17 years old - turns 18 in August. Rodeo participant - Bull Riding.

He needs accident / health coverage.

Any ideas on which carrier would write him standard?

Golden Rule will take him but place an avocation rider on excluding coverage for any injuries or illnesses resulting from being in a rodeo. This is according to their broker support line just now, and they laughed like crazy when I asked.

Humana and Assurant will do the same if he does this as a hobby, but will decline coverage completely if he does it professionally.
