From reading the Health Sherpa thread- CMS basically shut them down. I'm not quite sure why- something to do with coding. This is really bad. . .

CMS changed the subsidy verification process mid open enrollment. It looks to me like the new process is up and running at Sherpa.

Another greater web broker is HealthSherpa. Also ACA Express. I have done more than 500,000 enrollments with each of them.

So, we are going to pay a $10 fee or a monthly subscription to bypass the client setting up an account? Still have to work through the healthcare.gov application, so why is this worth the expense?

We're usually more active on the Health Care Reform forum (Health Sherpa 2016 Open Enrollment), but want to make sure we get the message out here too:
1. The HealthSherpa SimpleEnrollment is back (no double redirect - all enrollment can take place on a single site)
2. All agent applications on HealthSherpa are curently free. No setup cost, no per-application cost.
Best time to test out the service by creating your own account if you haven't yet.
