I am hoping to receive a Sightseeing Certificate of Public Necessity and Convenience from the New Orleans Taxicab and For Hire Bureau. We are going to be conducting sightseeing tours in the French Quarter. We are already licensed tour guides and will also receive chauffeur licenses and CPNC driver permits issued by the bureau.
We are trying to find insurance for a JH Global Services, Inc. (Star EV) Star AP48-06-AC-D with solar panel, air conditioning, and doors. See picture below.
Desired insurance level: 250,000/500,000/10,000.
We will have a maximum of 4 guests per tour plus my wife and me on board as guides/drivers. We will be doing two, up to three hour tours per day. The vehicle will be garaged, and no one will be permitted to drive the vehicle other than my wife and me.
We have come so far in the process and it would be terrible for us to be derailed because we can't find insurance.
I am 61 and my wife is 57. We both have credit scores in the 800s.
