Help for Leroy

Male
Age: 60
Height/Weight: 5 ft. 9 in. 220 lbs.
Diabetic: Diagnosed 5 yrs ago - taking Metformin (under control)

Looking for something to pay off his mortgage ($120K) or ($1,250/mo) should something happen to him.

Disability is extremely high. Can get him a Term (10,15, or 20 yr) for a Standard rate, although he'd have to die to reap benefits.

Leroy ain't made of money - been working warehouse for a major food processor for the past 15 yrs.

Any idears?

As a diabetic at that age, I don't think you're likely to find an affordable life/disability combination especially if he's cash sensitive.

He may have trouble getting any DI plan within a realistic cost range.
