Help Me Develop a Plan

    I have a athletic league with 900+ players. Each pay around 25 dollars. $22,500 per year.

    The current situation: They have a policy through K&K (includes D&O, GL). It has a group accidental medical policy with a $400 dollar deductible and $5000 Max benefit. It is designed like a reimbursement policy. So the player does not receive anything until it's paid already or 30 days later.

    So I have a few ideas but do not know if they are even possible.

    1. Self-Insure for the Group accidental medical and pay the $$ for the GL.
    -gets rid of deductible
    -gets rid of waiting period
    -I DONT GET PAID FOR IT!! :no:
    (Do I need to help them set up a trust, and if so how??)

    2. Try and find a way to make them all employees and write a guaranteed issue group DI.

    Any Ideas or recommendations would be great!
