Hemp Insurance

Hello All,

I had a prospect call and inquire about Hemp crop insurance. I believe it has been approved in the new farm bill, however, I don't think any details have come out or if any products have come out yet.

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!

while many members of the forum have extensive experience with hemp related products, I don't believe it is professional or insurance experience.

I would suggest you reach out to your Crop insurance carriers who should have more detailed and useful information.

Thank you for the reply. I have contacted my MPCI carriers, but they don't know any more than it is approved, but there is no details on the policy, coverage, etc. I'm researching now to see if there are any private products or carriers available. If anything I'm gaining knowledge in it.
