Doesn't that defeat the reason for a high deductible plan? Go for a low deductible plan instead.

Insuranceman, You'll get the answers you need faster by doing a forum search on the word "Deductible" being present in the title. Several discussions have occurred over the past year. I posted in one recently, which you'll find a few days below this thread.

Depends what you are trying to supplement. Accident plans can be a good value depending on cost. Some accident and CI combos can been great if you have the right products.
Supplements for blanket sickness seldom are worth the money then you would indeed get a lower deductible.
Opinions vary on this board and you really need to talk to someone who specializes in these supplements as some are complete junk and some are worth every penny.
