If you were to measure in amount of premium or experience, when is the right time to hire an agent? Is it ever too soon?
Also, for those who have hired commission only agents, can you please share your insight. Commission split? Any unforeseeable expenses? When it comes to the actual legal paperwork for the "Hiring process", what must i prepare?
To explain my particular situation: I'm 24. college grad. Opened up on 1/01/2017 with ZERO experience. I probably have about 30K in premiums right now. Sold mortgages for the past year. I have Progressive, Foremost, a couple nonstandard autos, Westfield auto+home package only, and a few other options provided by a MGA. Office is in my parents real estate office (successful local business).
