When you're applying for an underwritten medsupp for a couple, is there any way to set a condition that the carrier accepts both or neither? For example, it's worth moving the clients to a new carrier if they both qualify in order to get the household discount, but not if one gets declined. This would especially be the case if they were both coming from a carrier where they were currently getting a discount. In this situation, the premium might actually be higher.

It's not uncommon for them to be with different companies because of health conditions. Many companies will give the Household discount if only one applies, as long as they've been living with another adult age 60 for the past 12 months. Some require a younger age. Most don't require both to take it to get the discount. Aetna does.
