Dr. Michelle Cretella of the American College of Pediatricians says a problem is the "utilitarian philosophy" in the Affordable Care Act, namely a question of which citizens deserve health benefits.

"The Affordable Care Act is weighted in such a way that those citizens between the ages of 10 and 50 are actually rated higher because they're the most productive citizens to the state," Cretella tells OneNewsNow.

So funds will be "weighted" in their direction as opposed to the elderly. People might want to ponder whether that is euthanasia, just at a slower pace.

Then again, how does that thinking apply from ages of preborn to 10 years old? "With that philosophy it should not be surprising for us in the future to see more agitation for euthanasia of seriously ill children and disabled newborns in particular," the doctor predicts
