How do I get "Appointed" in Florida?

Hello Everyone,

I am an agency owner and I have my agent and agency resident license in Indiana. We are trying to get our agency non-resident license but we cannot do so without an active non-resident Florida Designated Responsible Agent. I (agent) have applied and have been accepted but my license is not active until I have been appointed by either an "agency" or "insurance company" in Florida.

Don't know if anyone else has ran into this problem. Would welcome any suggestions.

My apologies, I am trying to get a non-resident agency license in Florida. But I (the agent) does not have an active license since I am not "appointed" by an agency or insurance company.

FL is a mess right now. I would stay out of the FL market for a while until it gets under control.
