I am looking to start my insurance career (hopefully as an independent agent) soon and while I am in the process of getting my license, I need to find a broker or agency to appoint me so I can get started.
How should/do I approach the individual or agency? Should I send an email, or should I call? What should I say or write?
In some states its easy to find brokers, while here in Texas when I type in "insurance broker" into a google search, I get more agencis or agents and occasionally a broker here and there. So who should I approach?
I'm ready to get this show on the road!
