Rates changes:
Anthem On and Off Exchange: +9.650% average
Assurant: +28% average! As of 3/31/14, insured 3,836 people with the off-exchange policy.
Coordinated Care: -8.8% average
MDwise: +35% average!
Physicians Health Plan: +46% average!
The following new companies have submitted a filing to the state:
All Savers Insurance Company (UnitedHealthcare) - Filed as on-exchange only. The sample application does have a spot for broker info. I believe this will be associated with UnitedHealthOne. "Choice" networks of providers.
Some sample rates for $2000 deductible, 70/30, $6600 OOPM
Age 21, Marion County, $324/month
Age 50, Marion County, $579/month
Assurant Will be on exchange 2015. I don't know why they are even trying.
CareSource Indiana - This is a managed care company, so broker involvement is probably not to be expected. Rates seem very competitive.
