Insuricom Vs US Health Advisors Career

To whoever would like to respond....

I am licensed L&H for many years, but have been dormant with it for quite some time. I find myself in a position where I must work from home and these two companies seem to be the only ones that I have found to start out from.

My question is obvious, is there someone else to start up my license with than these 2? just askin.....

Thanks in advance for any responses.

If anyone is interested in honest detailed info on USHealth Group/Advisors from someone who was there feel free to inbox me. I was a top Dist Mgr with them from 9/08-3/11.

I am a fairly new agent-1 year. But really struggling to make a decent living. I talked to a recruiter from US Heath Advisors today. I liked that they had guaranteed issue health insurance. I personally know dozens of people who could not get any type of Health Insurance because of pre-existing illnesses.

Is USHA for every client-no. But neither is any insurance-that is why we have so many. Although from what I understand, unless Obama HC 2014 doesn't change, it may be a more level playing field for the other carriers. I was told that USHA will not be a part of the Obama plan. I am not sure why yet-I know very little about USHA yet. But I will tell you that I like that USHA pays great commissions (forever residuals, too) and that I can still make them after 2014.

I would be interested in carrying on an intelligent conversation with Rivers1 (guru) about this job opportunity. I have not posted enough yet to be able to contact you directly, so I am reaching out to you through the blog. Or anyone who has worked with USHA.

I want to make an informed decision about whether to become a captive agent. Something I never thought I would consider. I love Medicare products and I hate to stop selling it, but a gal has got to eat (and I want to be at the top of the food chain) and have enough left over to buy more shoes.

I am new to the forum and can not send you a message. I would like to have a private conversation with you about this company. I am new to insurance and want to be able to make a successful career out of it but need for information about the company.

Thanks in advance!

Avoid both. Sell real insurance, not limited benefit garbage. I'm sure all of their agents are making $3900/week just like their website says.
I find it disheartening to see the misinformation posted in this forum. USHealth provides "real" insurance and has done so for 50 years. USHealth Advisors was formed in 2006 to meet the requests of small businesses, self-employed and individuals, and has over 15 million insured, which you can only do with "real" insurance. Their business practices are in line with my personal value system, grounded in my Christian beliefs. I obtained my insurance license because of this company, their business practices and their products, and I sleep well at night, knowing I've provided all of my clients with the best options out there for them, and knowing that if we were not the best option for someone, we let them know and helped them find options that were best for them, so, some of YOU out there benefit by how we conduct business.

Care to share with us what a $5000 deductible HSA plan with 100% coverage, including Rx would cost a 40 yr old non smoking male would be with US Health? You pick the zip code, and then share with us the price and zip code. Just make sure there are no limitations on that HSA plan that you quote.

I work with them, 2 years now. It is a fine company in my opinion. Just like anything else, it is the agent that makes the company. I am not a "pusher", I educate my clients on how insurance works, the good and the bad. I have an 80% close rate and an 86% retention after my 2 years with them. Yes, Our commissions are good and most of us make good money by being truthful and educating the client
From your reply, you conduct business in the spirit USHealth intended. Good job, and keep it up!

that depends on what other options you select. There are 967 different plans we can offer, based on an individual basis, and if you seriously want to see what your options are, please schedule a little bit of your time to sit down with an agent.

Well said. I have not quite made 20 posts to be able to privately message, but would be willing to visit via the phone. Since my business phone is already posted on my website, I will share it here for these two posters only, as I am happy to professionally discuss and debate topics on this forum, but there is a malicious and unprofessional undertone in some posts, and I will not participate in unprofessionalism.

I'll make it easy on you. Just copy what every other major medical HSA plan includes at BCBS, Goldenrule, Humana, Cigna, Aetna, etc.

Include free preventive care, and unlimited lifetime maximums. Include the following going towards the deductible and 100% after the $5k deductible: Hospital, surgical, all outpatient items, RX, doctors and specialists. Pick a zip code in Denver and price it out for a 40 yr old male non smoker with no health issues, no meds and non smoker. We'll all be looking forward to your SPECIFIC response. Anything not specific will speak for itself.

Wow! Again, I am dumbfounded at the misinformation being presented. There is no straight $5000 deductible, and in many cases of a critical illness or an accident, the insured has no deductible expense, and no coinsurance expense. I would advise that you call our regional sales leads, Sherene or Ron Smith at 3720-357-7398
