Hey all.

I left the big green lizard last year after 10 years and took a year to try and get all the bad mojo off doing real estate. I am looking at getting back into Insurance soon.

Located in Southern California (San Diego) but licensed in 30+ states. I handled inbound calls on the night shift, averaging 20 calls a day that was constantly monitored for crap that would change day to day. I loved the people I worked with and even the characters that would get quotes...the pay/benefits were great but it was time to move on, I have always wanted my own office, so here I am!

I have researched and spoken to Franchise IAs (brightway, goosehead)/Captives (Farmers, Allstate, and StateFarm) and clusters (PIIB and SIAA), and have heard clusters are the way to go.

What would be the best way for someone with experience but no book to get started?
If you had to do it over again, what route would you have taken?
What is the advice you wish you had?

Thanks, everyone!
