Is It Worth It to Write Auto with Wholesaler?

I'm in NY and it's difficult to get direct appointments with personal auto carriers. Does anyone think it's worth writing auto through a MGA? if so, which MGA has a wide variety of auto companies?

Yes it is worth a look. If you are able to build a book with a wholesaler you will get a foothold in the door for a direct appointment. Not easily but better than nothing. All Risks Ltd is a place to start. tkg Brokerage is another.
Try you independent agent association and see if the can provide assistance.
