Medicaid costs the baboons in DC a lot less than Medicare.

Five to ten million undocumented people
all Races and religions they aren't going to participate.... they will still be using hospitals..... and the rest of us will pay with our taxes... medical providers are getting paid less and less as years go by

Hillary doesn't write legislation, neither does Kaine. Law has to originate in Congress.

The only folks that want single payer are lefty bureaucrats that want more vote buying power and the people that want more free stuff. Neither of those groups make up a significant portion of the population. Many who voted for Barry and bought into his "affordable health care" BS will not support Obamacare 2.0

175 million have health insurance through an employer plan. They aren't going anywhere.

105 million covered by Medicare and Medicaid. They won't be displaced either.

6 million are currently eligible for some form of private insurance. That is your market for a public option, single payer, whatever you want to call it. Obamacare 2.0 for that group will be Medicaid.

Single payer for everyone isn't needed and won't happen.
