Wellbutrin by itself is not a problem if used only for depression or anxiety. If it's taken for bi-polar disorder, Genworth will not insure.

If it is bi-polar, Hancock wants a 12 month waiting period from the date the med was taken and if nothing else is going on medically, they will consider at a Class 1 rating (+25%)

if wellbutrin was an autodecline, then 75% of my policyholders would not be policyholders.

All most carriers want is stability.....the actual medication is not that important. Wellbutrin in one of the most common anti-depressant drugs on the market. Its when you run in to things like Abilify, or anything "anti-psychotic" that you need to start getting concerned and asking more questions.

Even bi-polar people who are stable will be accepted by some carriers.

So, what you're saying is that almost 70% of your policyholders have a mental illness.

Where do you hold your LTC seminars, in a mental institution?

Arthur, you know that anyone has to be crazy :goofy: to work with me.
