A new J.D. Power study ranks member satisfaction with their Medicare Advantage provider (and also says MA plans represent a significant growth opportunity that carriers currently are not maximizing - details in link below).

Kaiser Permanente ranks highest (by far) for a third consecutive year, and was the only company to receive a “5 – among the best” rating in the study's "Power Circle Ratings" from consumers.

    Member satisfaction ranking (1,000-point scale)
    1. Kaiser Permanente: 852
    2. Highmark: 803
    3. Humana: 794
    4. UnitedHealthcare: 789
    5. BCBS of Michigan: 784
    6. Aetna: 782
    7. Health Net: 780
    8. WellCare: 779
    9. Cigna Healthspring: 775
    10. Anthem: 771

From your perspective, did the consumers get it right with the rankings?

They lose all credibility with this one statement, "The study, now in its third year, measures member satisfaction with Medicare Advantage plans—also called Medicare Part C or Part D. . ."
