I had an agent that I managed that was a Pru Advisor in NY. He's not on the forums, but he is a very honest & genuine guy. If you want someone who worked directly for them as an advisor PM me and will give you his email.
He would gladly give you the details you are looking for, but the fact he's independent now, very successful, with can still write PRU and many others tells me it wasn't for him after the close to 2yrs he was a Pru advisor before making the switch
