The best & the worst may be the same carrier. That can happen when only 1 still offers it. Pretty rare just like mortgage decreasing term is pretty much non existent

Assurity Life used to have a first to die whole life contract? I don't think they do anymore.

I was working a quote earlier and saw a first to die with Life Shield. I do not know any thing about it but if you wrote something like a $60,000 joint first to die. First death pays $60,000. $20,000 on funeral with enough for a preneed for number 2. Or $5,000 cremation and some debt elimination for the survivor.
I am sure the are reasons to not use it.
